Migration
Agent
The Collabra Share Migration Agent is a free migration tool that performs
a one-way conversion of Collabra Share forums to Collabra Server discussion groups. You can download the Migration
Agent today. Please read the accompanying documentation, Using the Collabra Share Migration Agent, before you
begin the migration process or install Netscape Collabra Server. You can also download a PDF Version of the document. Please note that Adobe
Acrobat 3.0 is required to read the documentation. Acrobat 3.0 is available free of charge from Adobe.

Netscape Collabra, a component
of Netscape Communicator, is the upgrade for the Collabra Share client. Designed to work seamlessly with your intranet,
Collabra takes advantage of Communicator's browsing and email components. Some of Collabra's enhanced features include the ability to compose rich HTML messages with graphics and links, access to the
corporate directory via the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), and access to Internet newsgroups. You can download Netscape Communicator today.

Server
Netscape Collabra Server 3.0 is the upgrade for Collabra Share Server and Collabra Share
Workgroup Edition. Collabra Server combines the best features of Collabra Share with the
enterprise-class features of the NNTP-based Netscape News Server. Some of the benefits of migrating to
Collabra Server include enterprisewide scalability and performance, LDAP-based user management,
certificate-based security, and NNTP-based replication for seamless collaboration between teams on the
Internet and intranets. You can download Collabra Server today. You will also need to download Netscape Directory Server to migrate Collabra Share user and group information.
Upgrade Policy and Pricing
Collabra Share will continue to be sold until June 30, 1997, then it will be discontinued. Technical support contracts for Collabra Share will
not be sold beyond December 31, 1997.
Netscape Communicator (which includes Netscape Collabra) and Netscape SuiteSpot 3.0 (which includes Netscape Collabra Server 3.0) will replace Collabra Share.
For Collabra Share Client-Server Edition customers, who have a Collabra Share Server, Netscape will provide the necessary servers
to match this functionality free of charge, and Communicator at the Netscape Navigator
1.x, 2.x, 3.x upgrade price.

As an example: A company of 2000 users with four Collabra Share Servers could purchase the following:
For Collabra Share Workgroup Edition customers who do not have a Collabra Share Server, Netscape will sell
the required servers and Communicator at the standard upgrade price.
