Netscape Composer is a powerful yet easy-to-use web-based word processor. It is the ideal tool for producing most documents, with the added benefit that it is optimized for use on a corporate intranet. Composer gives users the flexibility to create richly formatted text, tables, and graphics while providing them with the benefits of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) - a universally readable, compact, open document standard. After creating a document, a user can easily publish it to an Internet or intranet web server by using Composer's One Button Publish feature.

New Editing Tools
Composer's Tools menu is extensible. By downloading Composer Plug-ins from Netscape or third parties, the user can extend the functionality of Composer. Several new Composer Plug-ins are already included with Netscape Communicator 4.5, including tools such as:

• Rainbow Colorize (select a line of text, turn it into a flowing line of colors)
