In addition to these content-rich channels, Netscape Netcenter also offers a variety of useful services you can use to perform specific Internet-based tasks. Netscape Netcenter's major services include

• Contact Services  For contacting and communicating with other Internet users. Includes Netcenter Member Directory, Netscape WebMail, Netscape Community Forums, and Netscape AOL Instant Messenger.
• Search Services  Use to search for information on the Internet. Includes Netscape Search (see Figure 2.4), White Pages, Yellow Pages, and Classifieds.
• Computing Services  Enhance your personal computing experience. Includes Shareware and SmartUpdate.
• My Netscape  A custom start page to the Internet.
