For Netscape Navigator Users
If you're a Netscape Navigator user, you can quickly access Netscape Netcenter at any time by clicking the Netscape logo in the top-right corner of the browser window. Wouldn't it be easier, though, to just have Netscape Navigator launch with the Netscape Netcenter home page already displayed in the browser window? Here's how to make Netscape Netcenter the default start page in Netscape Navigator.
- Use Netscape Navigator to go to the main Netscape Netcenter page (home.netscape.com or click the Netscape logo).
- From the Netscape Navigator menu bar, click the Edit menu and select Preferences.
- When the Preferences dialog box appears (see Figure 6.1), select Navigator in the left-hand pane and click the Use Current Page button.
Figure 6.1 Use the Preferences dialog box to set Netscape Navigator's start page.
- Click OK to close the dialog box and register your selection.
The next time you launch Netscape Navigator, it automatically displays the Netscape Netcenter home page.
